Quotes
VM Stoneworks provides written quotes. The price is based on the measurements taken at the on-site visit, the material you choose, the square footage and the layout, and it is agreed with you before any work begins.
Anything discussed before an on-site visit is indicative only. Where opening up a room reveals work that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand, we will price it and get your approval before continuing. The written quote you receive sets out the terms that apply to your particular job.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and the stages at which the balance falls due, are set out in your written quote.
Stone slabs, tile and fixtures are ordered once the specification is agreed with you. Because these items are cut or ordered to your specification, they cannot always be returned once the order is placed.
Scheduling and access
We work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. We agree a start date with you and tell you honestly how many days the job will take before we begin.
You will need to give us reasonable access to the property, along with power and water, throughout the work. Where a delay is caused by circumstances outside our control, we will tell you as soon as we know and agree a revised date with you.
Changes to the job
Any change to the agreed specification is treated as a variation. We will confirm the cost and any effect on the schedule with you, and it only proceeds once you have approved it.
Workmanship
VM Stoneworks LLC is licensed, insured and bonded under CR-60 ROC 346994 and CR-48 ROC 348036.
We walk the finished work with you at the end of every job. If anything is not right, we put it right before we call it done. Any warranty on materials is the manufacturer’s own and is passed to you in full.
Questions and complaints
If something is not right, tell the crew on site, then call (480) 352-9122 or email info@vmstoneworks.com. We would always rather hear about a problem early and fix it.
